MCDEX will launch an Incubator Program to involve and incentivize the community to work on some projects that can be built on the MCDEX platform. In the long run, this will also help to expand the MCDEX product line and boost trading volumes. Our team will mentor and guide the users on product-market fit, investments and allow the team to tap on the vast experience of MCDEX.
The project has to be built on the MCDEX Mai3 protocol. The developers need to use Mai3 protocol as a common underlying infrastructure or interact with Mai3 protocol.
Check out all the exciting news and what happened during the time.
Key takeaways — An update on when the new product will launch?
Since February, the team has been waiting for the Arbitrum to be prepared. We still believe it worth waiting instead of launching on another chain mainly because of the three following reasons:
👉 The instant confirmation — provided by Arbitrium, is a unique advantage that no other solutions can provide. …
So, in the end, we set a few requirements: 1) it must be composable, 2) EVM compatibility and can be deployed quickly. The logic here is that if it is EVM compatible, it would accelerate the deployment process where other products can also deploy quickly. This will accelerate the growth of the entire ecosystem tremendously.
Lastly, we hope that this plan is feasible and can be ready in a short time. After much evaluation, we decided the Arbitrum is the L2 solution that fits our criteria. During the time of evaluation, we also looked at optimism, but we felt…
M: These are really helpful and interesting points. Taking a look at the DeFi space, we found out that a lot of projects, including those deployed to L2, are working to solve the liquidity issue. All of them finally came to the same solution, which is to improve capital efficiency. For example, Uniswap V3 aims to concentrate the liquidity within a custom price range
I have a question regarding the second point on permissionless. If I am a liquidity provider and I have created a liquidity pool, will there be a scenario whereby someone wants to trade against my pool…
M: Actually, I really want to talk about what you learned during the evolution from v2 to v3, and let us briefly talk about some key features of V2 and V3 and what changes have been made.
L： This is a very good question. What we learned from v2 is that liquidity is the first principle of financial products, which means we should focus on how to improve liquidity, including high capital efficiency, which leads to low slippage for traders, and lower cost to provide liquidity.
How did we discover this? V2 is a hybrid model with both order book…
M：Today, I have invited Liu Jie, the founder of MCDEX, to be the guest on 51% podcast. Before we start, Liu Jie will give the audience a self-introduction.
L: Hi, I am Liu Jie, the founder of MCDEX. I used to be a developer at Baidu. At Baidu, I developed a distributed system and created a distributed database called Doris. This project is open-source and is widely used. In addition, I also developed a mining software called Minerbabe, a management tool for GPU mining. …
Based on the proposal 26, We are glad to extend our bounty with hummingbot to widen the participants of the arbitrager bounty.
The bounty program is established for the development of arbitrage strategy between MCDEX and other exchanges.
MCDEX is calling for developers to produce arbitrage strategies based on MCDEX perpetual swaps. This arbitrage strategy is designed based on elements including but not limited to the funding rate, cash and carry trade, and spread.
From May to June, We conducted a campaign that recommend MCDEX to your friends and Get $MCB reward. We are super grateful for the enthusiasm from the community.
You need to state one sentence to recommend MCDEX to your friends.
We are thrilled to share that we are live on Arbiturm Mainnet and will go public after testing for a couple of weeks.
We launched the testnet on Arbitrum in February and have been constantly incorporating users’ feedback since then. As of today, 2575 users have conducted over $4.2B trading volume through 180 contracts. We also have 110 operators that created their pools to contribute to the ecosystem’s liquidity.
So what exactly will MCDEX V3 offer?
As we are approaching the mainnet launch, we cannot wait to share some good news with our communtiy. MCDEX are pleased to announce that we have partnered Math Wallet to enhance our protocol and ecosystem. This partnership will allow our users to conveniently manage their ERC-20 digital assets with top-level security provided by Math Wallet. We believe the integration between two teams will generate the market-leading user experiences for perpetual traders in DeFi.
MathWallet is a multi-platform (mobile/desktop/hardware) universal crypto wallet that enables token storage of 60+ chains including BTC, ETH, Polkadot, Filecoin, EOS, Solana, BinanceChain, Cosmos etc, supports cross-chain…
